North Georgia Peach Tour

It's college tour time! Come along to visit the University of Georgia and the University of North Georgia. This tour is open to 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. This is an all-day event. The cost is $50. For more information, please stop by the counseling office, or view our flyer.

Rising Ninth Grade Warrior Showcase

North Cobb High School welcomed rising ninth graders with a Warrior Showcase on February 12. In case you missed it, you can view the presentation, which offers valuable information for the Class of 2023. 

Library Construction

Please be aware that construction on the new county library on the corner of Old Highway 41 and Blue Springs Road is causing traffic delays from points north of campus. Please plan to add more time to your commute in order for students to arrive safely and on time for the start of the school day.

AP Honor School

We are proud to be recognized by the state as an AP honor school for the work that our Warriors are doing in their academic classes. Georgia’s public school class of 2018 is ranked 16th in the nation for the percentage of students scoring three, four, or five on at least one AP exam during high school and 13th in the nation for AP participation.

North Cobb made the list as an AP honor school in the following categories:

  • AP Access and Support Schools (64 named in Georgia)
    Schools with at least 30% of AP exams taken by students who identified themselves as African-American and/or Hispanic, and 30% of all AP exams earning scores of three or higher.

  • AP Humanities Schools (142 named in Georgia)
    Schools with students testing in the following AP courses: at least one English course, two history/social science courses, one fine arts course, and one world language course.

  • AP Merit Schools (71 named in Georgia)
    Schools with at least 20% of the total student population taking AP exams and at least 50% of all AP exams earning scores of three or higher.

  • AP STEM Schools (200 named in Georgia)
    Schools with students testing in at least two AP math courses and two AP science courses (AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C, AP Computer Science A, and AP Computer Science Principles).

Prom Information

Prom Information LetterIt's almost that time of year, once again! This year's prom will be on Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at The Event Center at Opera Atlanta. You may purchase tickets online through March 17 and in person through March 22. Please take some time to review our prom information below for all the details.

No Outside Vendor Deliveries

Please remind your student that we do not allow food deliveries to the school from outside vendors. We will keep all deliveries in the front office, and we will not allow students to pick them up until the end of the school day.

Senior Letter Initiative

We are now collecting letters for our graduating seniors from family, friends, former teachers, and other individuals who have been a part of our upcoming graduates lives. All letters are due by Wednesday, April 17. Please see our senior letter initiative note to parents for complete details.
